When a person completes their high school & decides to study in a college, a thought that comes to most students’ minds is to study abroad. It is because of many reasons, but most often because of the quality of education, the lifestyle, the job opportunities during and after a degree & permanent residence.

Some students consider all these reasons before choosing a country, while others look at one or two factors. Some countries are so good because they fulfill all these criteria that most of the students from around the world choose that country.

In this blog, we’ll talk about some of the best countries you can choose to study abroad. We know you’re confused between some countries because there is little difference between them. Don’t worry because this blog will clear all your doubts, help you decide on one to two countries, and even help you consider some countries you didn’t before.

So, without any delay, let’s start with the blog.

Australia

The first country on the list is Australia. It is famous for its beaches, kangaroos, and excellent student life. Surrounded by water from all sides, it is heaven for people who love the beach life. If you choose Australia for your college education, you can expect to find students from India, China, and many other parts of the world.

For as long as we can remember, Australia has been a famous study abroad destination because of its quality education, the pay scale during and after education & permanent residency options. One can choose from many colleges & universities spread throughout the country.

The students who’re ready to put in effort into studying & completing assignments should definitely consider Australia because of the amazing post-study options they get.

Canada

Canadians are known to be the politest people in the world. When someone lives in such a beautiful country, that’s what we can expect from them. But other than the people being polite, this country is full of natural lakes & a large area where one can travel.

Canada is north of The United States of America (USA), meaning this country also has a booming economy. It is easy for people living here to travel to the USA. The education system is one of the best here & many Chinese and Indian students choose to live here.

People from all across the world know about the free healthcare system in Canada. So, people living here know that their tax money will not be wasted. Apart from the healthcare system, many students choose to study here because becoming a Permanent Resident (PR) is easy. A student who fulfills all the criteria during their time spent in Canada can become a Permanent Resident in four to five years.

United Kingdom

The UK is the place to be if you love getting familiar with people from different cultures who speak different languages. It is the place where you can find people from all parts of the world living in harmony.

The UK is close to Europe, which means that people who have a travel bug can take a ferry and reach Paris to observe the magnificent Eiffel Tower.

Oxford and Cambridge Universities are also in the United Kingdom. It means that if you have good grades and can clear the entrance exam, then studying at these universities isn’t difficult. Apart from studies, the part-time work opportunities are plenty, and most jobs have a good pay rate.

If you’re a fan of tea and hot chocolate, you’ll fall in love with the United Kingdom because people here take pride in these two things, meaning you can get top-quality. If all these points about the UK sound good, then researching it is a good option.

United States

If we conducted a survey and asked people whether they’d choose to study in the United States of America or not, most would say yes in a heartbeat. That’s because this country has the strongest economy in the world. During the Presidential elections, the entire world anticipates.

There may be some problems within the country, but honestly, which country doesn’t. Apart from some instabilities here and there and the gun culture, the USA is an excellent option if you want to move abroad.

From MIT to Harvard, there are several top-notch universities in the USA that students worldwide try to get into. But only the best of the best get into these universities. If you’re also good at studies & have a good intellectual level, we recommend you consider this country. You can also get partial or full-ride scholarships.

Germany

If you know anything about Europe, you’ll know about Germany. We say that because Germany (Deutschland) is the strongest economy in the continent. Beautiful European nations surround the country.

Whether you choose to study in Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, or Hamburg, you can find top-notch colleges & universities. When you choose Germany for your higher education, you also get a chance to learn the German language. If you think learning a new language is not easy, we recommend checking our blog on why learning a second language is beneficial.

If you’d like to do a degree related to automobiles, Germany is the best option in the entire world because this country leads the automobile sector. The world-famous car manufacturer Volkswagen is from Germany. Automobile jobs are easy to find in Germany, and those jobs pay excellent.

Czech Republic

Not many people know about the Czech Republic because it is not popular. But in our opinion, this country should get more recognition because of the excellent education standards. It is situated right in the middle of Europe, which is why it is also called the heart of Europe. It has the perfect blend of Eastern & Western Europe being at the center.

The Czech Republic is a perfect option for people who don’t have a lot of funds for a college education because the Bachelor’s and Master’s here are affordable. You can expect to spend half or one-third of the amount you’d spend in Canada. But affordable education doesn’t mean the country’s education quality is inferior in any way.

Students who love road trips will love this country because being at the heart of Europe, they can easily travel to Austria, Germany, Hungary, and other European countries by road. The Czech Republic is a perfect mix of cultures, and you won’t have to struggle with finding part-time work and activities to do in the country.

India

Most major companies like Microsoft, Google, and Twitter have one thing in common; all three companies have Indian CEOs. That is a surprise for the entire world, but it isn’t for Indians. That’s because Indians know the study environment in the country & how hard students have to study to pass the exams.

Because of the huge competition, you have to be the best to get noticed. Anything below that just isn’t enough (we don’t believe in it, though, but people in India deal with it regularly).

So, studying in India won’t cause international students a lot of stress?

Not really. There are several excellent colleges & universities spread across the country that are at par with international education standards.

Moreover, the fee per semester in most colleges is affordable for people from developed countries. Also, one can get a scholarship if they apply at a university or college at the right time. We highly recommend you consider India for your higher education.

The Netherlands

We have another European country that made it to our list of the 8 best countries for studying abroad. And this country deserves a spot because of how awesome it is. We’re talking about the Netherlands.

The Netherlands neighbors Belgium and Germany and is a go-to spot for people wanting to have fun & chill time. Tourists from around the world flock to Amsterdam (we know you want to go there too). Things illegal in many other parts of the world are legal here (you know what we’re talking about).

But, the Netherlands is not only limited to great nightlife. There is so much more to the country that you’d want to board the next flight there.

The education system in the Netherlands is excellent. Professionals choose this country for Ph.D. The job prospects here are very good; way better than some countries on this list.

Oh, we almost forgot about the bicycles. The Netherlands is a bicycle nation because there are more bicycles in the country than people. The Dutch truly love not just their bicycles but also riding them. To decrease pollution from vehicles, the government has put more taxes on cars. And this action has worked pretty well in making the Netherlands one of the cleanest countries in the world.

We recommend you do some research about the Netherlands to decide whether it is an option for you for higher education or not.
